• This module is mainly aimed at identification of crops at district/ taluka/village,
collection of several crop information, like crop variety, irrigation source, crop
sowing dates, photos of field etc.,

• Accurate identification of Cluster wise crop sowing areas
• Crop maps from high resolution multispectral satellite data
• Type and variety of crops at village level
• Accurate estimation of production of the particular crop in the state
• Mapping of available resources (irrigation, water bodies, soil type, forest area
etc.,)
• Accurate sowing area in Kharif and rabi season which will help in policy
decisions.
