TARGET I

 Mapping of existing health facilities in all districts of Maharashtra State along with base map details such as
District boundary, Taluka boundary, Roads, Rail, etc.

 Generation of taluka-wise database showing distance of existing PHCs vis a vis village and Subcenter vis a
vis village.

 GIS Analysis based on population and distance between health centers & proximity analysis for PHC & Sub
centers with variable radius as per norms of Health Dept.

 Generation of district wise maps showing location of rural hospitals/ District hospitals / Sub district hospital
and other Super specialty hospitals (TB, Leprosy, Mental , …..)

 Generation of taluka wise maps showing all Non-standard institutes

 Identifying geographical locations which will help to take appropriate decision for changing / shifting /
merging the health facility

 The above processes will be carried out for the Urban Health Institutes / other institutes as per requirement
of the Health Dept.
