Future scope


                        ➢    The scope of this orthorectified data is used to prepare accurate, reliable and
                             planimetrically corrected base maps at ever largest scale (1 : 4000).


                        ➢    These base maps prepared using this data may be utilised by the line departments for

                             their day to day /routine activities for their planning, execution and confirmation of work
                             done.


                        ➢    The digital elevation model (DEM) data may be used by various developmental and
                             implementing agency of government of Maharashtra for their infrastructure development
                             e.g. agriculture, irrigation, urban etc.


                        ➢    The contours and slope derived using this digital elevation model may be helpful for the
                             line departments to execute their plans and developmental activities for the benefit of
                             citizens and mankind.


                        ➢    These 3D data may be useful in smart cities development and creation of sustainable
                             infrastructure for conducive environment for good health of the society.


                        ➢    The 3D feature extraction may be useful for urban civic bodies to increase their revenue
                             and for archaeological department to develop the fort areas, sites of tourist attraction etc.

                               This database is of immense potential to derive the nos. of information and applications
                        for disaster management, urban development, rural, panchayat raj infrastructure, citizens
                        centric services and smart with inclusive governance.
