The study is aimed at generating a geo-spatial data of detailed Existing Land Use (ELU) data showing all the details of existing structures on the sites and other site features duly superimposed on Land Records Department, cadastral data of 13 villages under study.

Under this project, NWCMC intends to generate the geo-spatial data which would be helpful for the stakeholders’ planners and designers in decision making. Realizing this, NWCMC has approached and requested Maharashtra Remote Sensing Application Centre (MRSAC) Nagpur, an autonomous body under Planning Department, Government of Maharashtra, to generate the Remote Sensing and GIS database for the agency.
