Management Services Limited (MAHAGAMS)

MRSAC has worked as a catalyst agency by introduction of modern GEOSPATIAL technology in the

domain of Mahagenco/Mahagams estate management activity. On the basis of identified Area of Interest

(AOI), VHR satellite data of 50 cm resolution. Mapping of the Estate, Lands and Assets of the Power

stations has carried out to generate Existing Land use Maps (ELU) on the appropriate scale, which is the

vital input for day to day activities of Mahagenco. The Ash cluster maps generated in project are very

much useful for Ash distribution, management under the MOEF norms for Mahagenco Ash Management

System (MahaGAMS).

Output

The various deliverables in the form of GIS database, Geo-PDF, KML and Images shall be

generated for multiple applications and usage. Ash based Clusters can be set up by

MAHAGENCO/MAHGAMS based on this Geospatial database. MRSAC shall provide support/assistance

in GIS domain. Feasibility of ASH CLUSTERS & its location, market availability, transport, logistics, its

environmental impact, etc. can be assessed by MAHAGENCO using this database. MRSAC will make

standards for mapping and creation of database.
