Methodology

In order to implement the dashboard for online grievance redressal system, prototyping model
will be followed where a pilot case is prepared, and it is then refined according to the user
requirement and satisfaction. The existing digital data used on Geo-portal created by MRSAC will be
the base data to be utilized for referring geographic locations. The methodology to create the GIS

database involves following components.

➢ Development of prototype in which all the functionalities of proposed system built-in. The system
will be integrated in terms of hardware and softwares.

➢ Development of website for visualization of mapped assets.

➢ Designing interface for advance GIS queries and analysis.

➢ Validations & approval from competent authority of user department for carrying out work at
production level.

➢ Meanwhile, capacity building and training of village level functionaries like Sarpanch/EPR,
Gramsevak, Facilitator/operator, minimum two local citizens participants, etc. will be undertaken
for asset mapping of existing and planned solar systems. This activity will be followed by on field
hands on practical for geo tagging all the solar systems of respective village with the help of these
village level functionaries.

➢ Division wise completion of work and time bound submissions therein.

➢ Integrating updations/modifications in the system case to case basis, if necessary.

➢ Spatial database creation and compilation, classification and feature coding under GIS
environment as per MEDA requirement.
