   By mapping the health locations ,spatial distribution of the existing facilities will be know

              Holes where a new facility is really required can be noted

              Places where there is no need of the facility and that can be merged/shifted to other required locations,

               considering the spatial location

              By studying the distance and population analysis decision to shift/merge/remove the facility can be taken

              The browser based application will facilitate the following :
                      Online addition/deletion of new facility on the map

                      Editing of existing facility on the map i.e altering the attribute data
                      Various models of Geoprocessing analysis such as buffer and Network analysis such as shortest path
                       can be induced to support decision making.

                      Query modules as per requirement will be introduced.

                      Basic GIS functionality such as zoom in/ zoom out, pan, identify, map tips, etc will be included
                      Printing the map
                      Report generation (Tabular as well as chart forms alongwith the map)
                      In future, layers from other themes such as roads, railway, forest, waterbodies, etc which can affect
                       the location of the center can also be overlayed.
                      Layers from other department can also be integrated to support in decision making
