Objectives
Today, MRSAC has repository of geospatial database comprising of village/city cadastral
database administrative boundaries and a wealth of natural resources database generated
using satellite remote sensing and GIS technology. The overall objectives of this project are
as under-
➢ Procurement of the fresh high resolution of 0.5m satellite data (in any case not older
than 6 months).
➢ Creation of the base data i.e. creation of the image base for the Municipal areas.
➢ Re-geo-referencing of the existing GIS database where required.
➢ To Standardization & Re-standardization of the database as per the requirement as
envisaged.
➢ Digitization of sanction layout plans and geo-referencing the same on satellite images
2 ➢ for Land Property Boundaries.
Updating of the features, especially new plot boundaries (Land Property) and building
foot-prints (Asset properties on land property)
➢ Web enabled Municipal Integrated System for better analysis and monitoring of the
Municipal Administration
