Methodology

In order to achieve the objectives of the MoU and scope of work, the project

work flow along with responsibilities of each department are as given below:
Project Activity Assumptions

➢ Creation of the digital Image base: Procurement of High-Resolution Satellite data

(HRSD) of 0.3m/0.5m, ortho-rectification, mosaicing, image enhancement and tilling

for geo-referencing and overlaying of the GIS data. Wherever further high-resolution
image data is required for interpretation, UAV data will be used.

➢ Digitization/Conversion of all digital databases as per standards: Conversion (where

database is available), fresh digitization, updation, correction thus preparation of the
digital GIS database as per the prescribed standards.

➢ Geo-referencing/Overlay of the digital database with Satellite data: Superimposing

the corrected GIS data onto the ortho-rectified satellite data and further correction, if

any, for final incorporation and topology generation.
5 ➢ Extraction, Updation and topology generation of all GIS data: Feature extraction from

satellite data and updation of the old data. Topology generation and finalization of the

GIS data.
