Quality Assurance & Database Validation

MRSAC will make standards for mapping and creation of City/Town database. DMA

will ensure that the desired accuracy of mapped asset locations is maintained by acquiring
the correct information from field or the available data from ULBs. They will ensure that the

field level officials will add appropriate data into the system. The department must depute a

team for validating the mapped assets / activities before accepting the final approval for
posting in the database. Once assured, MRSAC will accept and integrate all the mapped

assets/activities into final database for further visualizations and application development.

MRSAC will associate in the field work during proto-typing, validation of limited field

observations and related capacity building. MRSAC will carry out QA/QC of the digitized GIS
base map, Asset Property (ASPO) extractions, or any other GIS digitization, geo-

referencing, or image processing done during the project period.
